You may be aware that the government has said that play areas can re-open as of the 4th July. Any re-opening is subjected to stringent Covid-19 Health and Safety measures. After applying those measures to a Risk Assessment of the play equipment, Croft Parish Council has found that it is unable to meet them. As a result the Playing Field Play Area will remain closed and should not be used.
The Play Area will open again as soon as it is safely possible to do so.
Croft Parish Councillors are sorry for any disappointment this may cause and hope you will appreciate that this is not a decision that has been taken lightly. The decision has been made with the health, safety and best interests of residents in mind.
