CADRAG survey on HS2

Introduction

This survey is intended to help CADRAG* respond to the Rail Needs Assessment for HS2 north of Crewe, being prepared by the National Infrastructure Commission.  This assessment will be used by the Government when it takes a decision on the new lines around Warrington, including the HS2 Golborne Link.
This assessment will cover not just the HS2 Crewe-Manchester line and the Golborne Link, but also the Northern Powerhouse proposals for an east-west line linking Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and onward to York etc.   The east-west line could be simply a new link using “normal” train types or a High Speed line similar to HS2.
So it is important that we present evidence of people’s views on the need or otherwise for High Speed Rail lines in the North West, particularly in the Warrington area.
The questions in the survey are about your experience of the current rail network and your views on how it needs to be improved.
There are eight questions; the survey should only take a few minutes to complete.
This questionnaire closes on Sunday 3rd May.
Thank you for your help.
