King Charles III’s Coronation

Dear Crofters,

The parish council is currently seeking to gauge interest in an event – such as a picnic or tea party – for the weekend of King Charles III’s Coronation, to commemorate this historic occasion.

In the meantime, should you wish to organise your own event with your neighbours – such as a street party – here is some information from Warrington Borough Council as to what you should do:

Dear Event Organiser,

We are currently reviewing our list of potential events for 2023 and we would appreciate that, if you do intend to hold an event this year, then please ensure that you forward copies of ALL of the following documentation.

These documents should be submitted at least three months prior to your event date, to allow sufficient time for circulation to the council’s Event Safety Advisory Group members & for their feedback to be provided to event organisers :-

  • Event Notification Form (attached)
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • Event Management Plan (template attached)
  • Event Risk Assessments (including a specific Covid-19 risk assessment for good practice)
  • Annotated Event Site Plan
  • Event Medical / First Aid Plan

Your documentation should be emailed to: events1@warrington.gov.uk

I additionally enclose a link below to our events web page, which provides further information that you may find useful :-

We look forward to hearing from you in due course.
