Email from Culcheth High re: Students Using the School Bus at Smithy Brow, Croft – Bus Stop Closure

Dear Crofters,

Please see below an email received by the clerk from Culcheth High:

Apologies if this message does not relate to your child, but we need to ensure all parents that it does affect gets the message.

We have been informed by Sapphire, a company working with United Utilities, that the bus stop by 7 Smithy Brow in Croft will be closed next week , 19th to 23rd June.  The Local Authority has advised that students should use the stop outside the Horseshoe Pub on Smithy Lane instead.  This will affect the 280 Hiltons service that runs through Croft and may also impact on the 19 service that runs along Lord Street and continues onto Smithy Brow as this stop will be unavailable to those passengers.   Hiltons have advised that this should not cause much disruption given the proximity of the Horseshoe stop.

Should you have any queries regarding the 19 service please check with Warrington’s Own Buses.
